The 2010 Buick LaCrosse seeks to shake up the four-door sedan market as it goes head-to-head with competition ranging from the Lexus ES350 and Acura TL, through the Lincoln MKZ and Chrysler 300C. Luxury, comfort, and convenience abound in a sedan that’s bound to stretch buyers’ expectations.

The 2010 Buick LaCrosse is available in both front-wheel (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations. We tested a mid-level AWD LaCrosse CXL, equipped with the 3.0-liter V6 engine. Although there are three model-specific engines, a six-speed automatic transmission is used exclusively. AWD is only available in the CXL.

2011 Lacrosse is offered with 2.4-liter Ecotec engine, four-cylinder engine as standard and 3.6 liter V-6 remains an option. Now the 3.0-liter V-6 models will be dropped from the lineup. New features for 2011 is the addition of optional all-wheel drive on models equipped with 3.6-liter V-6.

The new four-cylinder engines, direct injection technology helps deliver power 182 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. Direct injection of fuel into the combustion chamber allows a higher compression ratio to improve the efficiency and horsepower. That means more power is made with less fuel and lower emissions. In fact, cold-start emissions reduced by 25 percent by direct injection.

The new Buick Regal GS has a more slender body and tight compared to its predecessor model that impressed soft. With four-cylinder engine equipped Turbocharge features, this car will compete with the Acura TSX car class. The output is estimated at 255 horsepower (190 kW) and 295 lb.-ft. of torque (400 Nm).

The mechanical elements of Buick Regal GS were developed with the aim of delivering a driving experience that is sporting, confidence-inspiring and refined. It has a performance-oriented drivetrain, a lowered body and lower center of gravity.

Buick Blackhawak is the combination of classic and comtemporary. Like shape made of 30's, but make no mistake, Buick could blackhawk down to 60 in 5 seconds. By color 'in' and sizes that are longer than normal cars, making it convenient for the car rode. The top can changed, closed or open. The Blackhawk, while not intended for major auto shows, adds to that new trend with a more aggressive take on styling heritage and power. And, Doble said, the Blackhawk is “no trailer queen.” It’s meant to be driven, maybe even from custom show to custom show across the country.
